TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS TO THE SITE
Shadow theatre performance requires a rear projection screen, projector and artists who work behind the screen. The projector is set behind the screen on the floor and works in the darkness. The artists are also behind the screen so the spectator sees only the screen itself and shadows on it. Projector, laptop, rear projection screen - we bring all this with us. We have two different screens: a demountable floor screen and hanging one.
Demountable floor screen (4*2.5 meters)
A demountable floor screen (dimensions 4 meters wide, 2.5 meters high) flies as oversized luggage, usually it doesn’t require extra charge. Stage requirements: the height of the ceiling should be minimum 3 m, the width of the stage minimum 6 m, and the depth of the stage behind the screen – minimum 6 m. The screen needs to be covered with stage clothing (side wings and a lid on top).
Hanging screen
7*4 meters
Hanging screen (dimensions 7 m wide and 4 m high) flies in a suitcase as luggage. Stage requirements: the height of the ceiling should be minimum 6 m, the width of the stage minimum 8 m, and the depth of the stage behind the screen – minimum 10 m. If the depth of the stage behind the screen is 8 m, then the picture on the screen will be 5.5 m * 3.3 m, the rest of the screen space will not be lit and it needs to be covered with stage clothing (side wings and a lid on top). The screen must be loaded at the bottom with loads from both sides. There must be 3-4 m in depth on the proscenium in front of the screen for the choreographic scenes (as a part of show).

Audio and video
Sound goes from our laptop that is also on the stage behind the screen. Together with the sound we play a video (animated background pictures which are the part of our performance). We need a cable and adapters (mini-jack) to output sound from our laptop to a local sound system and a mixing console. It is also possible to play audio separately from the presentation, if there is no possibility to connect the sound wire to the laptop but it is not the best option.
2 screen sizes to choose from
We have two types of screens, which allows us to perform on stages of different size. Projector, laptop, rear projection screen - we bring all this with us. There should be an opportunity to use the side wings and ceiling border curtain on the stage to hide what is happening behind the screen from the audience.
Complete darkness in the venue
The darker is in the room, the brighter is the color and the contrast of the figures on the screen.
Sockets
There has to be 2 sockets on the stage (total power consumption should not be less than 0.5 kW). The monitor line has to be out of our working area.
Surface of stage
Apart from the dimensions of the stage it is important that the surface of stage is smooth (linoleum or smooth treated wood).
This option allows us to take into account all the customer’s wishes in the performance as accurately as possible, use the corporate identity of the company and create a show based on a unique scenario. It takes at least 4 weeks to prepare a performance according to your script.

Each production begins with a script: first of all the customer approves it and then we move on to staging.
At this stage we won’t be able to make significant changes to the script.
Every our show is made on a background video (pictures, animation, etc.), in which we can implement company's corporate style.
Projector, laptop, a rear projection screen - we bring all this with us.
Six artists participate in the show on average and a coordinator from the theatre also comes to the site.
